DESIGN AND AUDIOVISUAL INSTALLATIONS IN THE CAIXAFORUM DE ZARAGOZA
Caixa Fórum Zaragoza, is a large Cultural Center dedicated mainly to temporary exhibitions. It is a brand new building of 7,000 m2, modern design, where concrete, aluminum and wood are the most notable architectural elements. The building has a multifunction auditorium (theater, concerts, cinema and conferences), two large exhibition halls located on different levels, two multipurpose rooms, a children’s room, cafeteria and several terraces.
What was our contribution? Solutions to problems
• Audio-visual solutions: a projection system was proposed in the auditorium that is managed by a computer that allowed on a single screen display several windows.
At the audio level, electroacoustic studies were carried out and the fi nal solution was with equipment from leading brands.
• Public address solutions: a public address system based on LDA equipment that fit the different building environments. Several areas can be controlled independently.
• Security: A CCTV installation represented the drawback that the images should be seen both locally and in the Central receiver that the client has. Therefore, it was necessary to install and confi gure this central-compatible devices, allowing the display, management of mobile cameras and the recording of images at the local level.
• Integration of anti-intrusion alarms at the local level whit the Installation of access control.
