THE “PALAU DE LA MÚSICA”, CONGRESSES AND ORCHESTRAS OF VALENCIA OFFERS ITS CLIENTS AN AUDIO-VISUAL EXTENSION OF ITS FACILITIES

The Palau de la Música in Valencia was inaugurated in 1987, next to the Turia garden and is considered one of the most emblematic buildings of the city. It is the headquarters of the Valencia Orchestra and the Municipal Band and has a large symphony hall with a capacity for 1,781 people and a chamber hall with 417 seats. Its concert hall has hosted world premieres and is a musical reference, in fact, it is considered one of the most important musical centers in Europe.

In 2002, after fourteen years of constant activity, the old building presented a series of shortcomings. The absence of rehearsal rooms, problems of space both in dressing rooms and in office areas, an obsolete loading and unloading system that did not communicate directly with the stage or the lack of access to the site from the main point of arrival, were part of the problems that the renovation and extension of the building had to solve and that in fact, solved.

Currently, it is going to proceed to an extension of a different nature, an extension of its audiovisual equipment. And, one of the highlights of this unique building is the merit that lies in maintaining a room of these characteristics, with artistic features so emblematic so that at the same time it is useful for us today, combining in a balanced way an original heritage with current functionalities appropriate to the use of a concert hall that is competitive in the 21st century.

We love being part of projects that have such a great cultural and historical load and that is why  we are very happy to be the winners of this tender for the supply of lighting, sound and video materials. Last May we finished with this supply.
